Today August 8 is the 3rd anniversary day of Club 808. In 2008, three years ago, on this exact date — Aug 8, 12 players who didn’t know each other well before played a round of causal game at Mt Si Golf Course. Shortly after, a club was formed and rest was history…….
On behalf of the management team, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate to our beloved young club, to every member for your participation and your support since day one, to the effort you have put in to build this club into a respectable platform for all of us to enjoy the game of golf and promote friendship. Thanks to all current and past management teams and all volunteers who have done so much for the success of this young club!
Let us continue to work hard together and make this club an even better place for all of members to enjoy for years to come…..

Chen Shuo is named VP, Operations to assume the responsibility vacant by Alan Jia who has moved to China to join a golf business venture started by some members of club 808. Club808 July 10th Tournament
It was a perfect summer day on July 10th, 36 players joined our individual competition. It was a very successful event. Thanks for the joint effort of Steve, Ben, Kerry, Debbie, Kailing and Shuo. Thanks for Ben to take care of the registration and handling of the money and checks and Kerry for figuring out the complex handicap and score. Also thanks for our former president Arthur – who played even with injury! Tiger should really learn from you and get tougher on the tour!
Thanks for the next generation that showed up! They are the hope of our club! Kevin Liu has taken home the longest drive and also hit low score of 77. Ivan Zhao again had won the net gross first place which unavoidably make us double his handicap again…
BTW, Ouyang might want sell all the 5 box of golf balls won from lucky draw, close to pin, low Net and young player for his son. If you are interested, contact him. LOL.
